Privacy Policy
Privacy policy content to be finalised before launch. This page will cover how Start form responses, assessment data and enquiry details are stored, accessed and retained.
Start the Conversation1. Who we are
The Ridge Intensive is operated in connection with the clinical practice of Simon Hitchcock, near Pizarra, Málaga, Spain. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, Simon Hitchcock is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact: clearvision.psychotherapy@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
We collect information you provide directly, through the Start form (name, email, phone, your written answers, preferred timing and selected route), the assessment (answers used only for an immediate on-screen reflection), general enquiries by email or Calendly, and standard technical web server logs.
3. Why we collect it
Information submitted through the Start form is used solely to allow Simon to understand your circumstances ahead of a first private conversation, and to respond to you personally. We do not use this information for marketing, we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own purposes, and we do not use it to train any artificial intelligence system.
4. Sensitive information
Because the Start form and assessment relate to mental health, answers you provide may constitute special category data under GDPR. We process this information on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you submit the form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
5. Who has access
Start form submissions are received directly by Simon. Where a wider practitioner is involved in your care, relevant information is shared with them only to the extent necessary to support your programme, and only after your participation is confirmed.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not proceed to a booked programme are retained for a limited period then deleted, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Information relating to a confirmed programme is retained in line with applicable clinical record-keeping obligations in Spain.
7. Cookies
This website uses only essential cookies required for basic site functionality. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.
8. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request erasure of your information, to object to how it is used, and to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the AEPD. To exercise any of these rights, contact clearvision.psychotherapy@gmail.com.
9. International transfers
Where third-party service providers process information outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place before any transfer occurs.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
